Cassidy Merteuil, the distant cousin of Kathryn Merteuil, arrives in Santa Barbara. There she meets Jason Argyle. Jason gets a roommate, Patrick Bales. Jason and Patrick form a mean-spirited partnership of seducing and dumping various young women on campus.
