The fifth season finds Tommy (Denis Leary) and Lou ( John Scurti ) competing for the love of a woman writing an article about 9/11 (Maura Tierney), leading to an in-depth flashback exploration of the events leading up to the attacks and the surrounding experience for all of the men on 62 Truck.
